Our process covers product form development, ergonomics, CMF, usability, and detailed 3D CAD. We iterate closely with engineering to ensure concepts are structurally sound, mechanically feasible, and optimized for real-world use. ENGINEERING
Prototyping and Validation

Engineering transforms design intent into working, testable hardware. We develop functional prototypes to validate mechanical architecture, assemblies, tolerances, and performance under real conditions. This phase includes prototype builds, mechanical testing, iterative refinement, and Engineering Validation Testing (EVT). We identify and resolve risks early, ensuring the product performs as intended before committing to tooling or production. By validating functionality and reliability upfront, we significantly reduce downstream development risk and accelerate the path to manufacturing.

MANUFACTURING
Manufacturing and prototyping

We prepare hardware products for real-world manufacturing, not just prototypes. This phase focuses on ensuring the design can be produced efficiently, consistently, and at scale. Our work includes Design for Manufacturing (DFM), material and process selection, tolerance optimization, BOM finalization, and supplier coordination. We support development through DVT and PVT, assisting with production handoff, documentation, and refinement as needed. Concept phase

The concept phase translates insights into viable hardware directions. We generate and evaluate multiple product concepts, exploring form, function, architecture, and system-level feasibility.This stage includes concept sketching, early 3D modeling, system layout, and initial engineering checks to assess practicality, complexity, and risk. Concepts are evaluated against user needs, technical feasibility, and manufacturing considerations.The goal is to select a clear, validated concept that can move confidently into detailed design and engineering with minimized uncertainty.

Engineering phase

Once a concept is selected, we move into detailed industrial design and mechanical engineering. Product form, ergonomics, internal architecture, materials, and tolerances are developed in parallel with engineering requirements.We create detailed CAD, assemblies, and interfaces while building functional prototypes to validate performance, fit, and usability. Iteration is driven by testing, feedback, and engineering validation (EVT).This phase ensures the product is not only well-designed, but mechanically sound, functional, and ready for manufacturing preparation.

Manufacturing phase

The final phase prepares the product for real-world manufacturing. Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is applied to optimize parts, materials, tolerances, and processes for production.We support development through DVT and PVT, finalize BOMs, assist with supplier coordination, and ensure all documentation is ready for manufacturing handoff.
